Experience is simply the name we give to our mistakes.

The internet is flooded with quotations on mistakes and its aftermath.

However my favorite is “It’s not how you make mistakes, but how we correct them that defines us”

Not that we don’t know that we all make mistakes, it just takes enough mettle to admit doing it, and especially when it could cause a trade-off!

With over 10 years of corporate experience I admit making several mistakes, most of which were totally avoidable, some which could cost me the project and at times trust was at stake.

The best way to navigate from the slug is Prompt Resolution and Effective Communication.

Though it is as simple as it sounds, its execution is the key. No leadership lessons or text book solutions can bail you out if you get stuck.

Chin up, Own Up and do what IS to be done. The only approach to avoid is denial!
