You came in my life
like a breath of fresh air,
when I was sad and was
looking for my heart elsewhere.
You say I smile sweet
which I owe to you.
The sparkle you like in me
is when I crave for you.
You taught me to love,
to smile and to be gay;
But when I was through,
you parted our ways.
When I look behind
I find you with arms wide spread
I run into your warmth,
scared to look up with eyes so red.
You promised to stay awake with me
till the fall of dawn;
Oh! Soon I realized it was
a dream that lasted so long!!!!
